It's Emergency Preparedness Month. Are you Ready?

Hurricanes, fires, COVID-19. How about a nuclear emergency? For those of us that live near Seabrook Station, that's one more thing to think about. Nearly three million Americans live within 10 miles of an operating nuclear power plant, and about 160,000 people live in Seabrook's 10-mile emergency planning zone.

Obviously, the pandemic an/or severe weather would seriously complicate safe evacuation in the event of an accident at Seabrook Station—however unlikely that may be. It's National Preparedness Month—a great time to check out resources to help keep you safe. Make a plan, today!
